Manzoor Wassan’s perverted flights of fancy are known for his fantastic predictions, his inexplicable dreams, and his rather idiotic look. He is also known for crucial slip of tongue particularly when he called head of his party as ‘chor’ chairman for which he is still paying the price as he is out of office in his native Sindh. It is, therefore, not surprising that he compared the flooded areas of his city Khairpur to Venice. Wassan was on a boat talking about how the scene before him is making him reminisce about his trip to Italy by stating that it could be seen that this scene is like Venice, the way there are villages, houses submerged in water. This foolish comment is though highly insensitive and regrettable but then such nonsense is very much his forte. Manzoor Wassan’s perverted flights of fancy and Netizens became justifiably angry taking him to task and rather rude comments started pouring in with frequency. It is unfortunate that political leaders, just to get their two minutes of fame, do not hesitate to go to any extent and make a fool of themselves in the process. TW
