The international public speaking competition of ESUP successfully completed its annual Karachi City Heats round of IPSC 2023, on Saturday, 25 February 2023. Award Distribution Ceremony was attended by the President, International Council of ESU and Patron in Chief ESUP Mr. Aziz Memon, President ESUP Mr. Kalim Farooqui, Vice President Mr. Irfan Qureshi, Joint Secretary Ms. Afshan Lalani and ESUP NCEC member Mr. Abbas Lavingia.
The winners were Miss Rameen Fatima of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, the First Runner Up, Miss Sidra Mujtaba of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, and the Second Runner Up, Mr. Wasiq Alam of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA).
The National Round will be held in Karachi on 18 March 2023 and will be contested by Winners and First Runners Up of the City Heats held in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
One important highlight of Karachi heats is that last year 5 schools in total participated with 9 students. This year with the persuasion of the IPSC team, ESUP got the participation of 15 schools with 27 students which is an encouraging development. The Weekender
