Drone Attack On Kremlin – Russian president Putin is reported to be one of the most closely-guarded heads of a state in the world. It is mentioned that any event attended by Putin is an extremely tight-knot security operation including extensive checks and long convoys of vehicles with airspace closed and traffic halted. However if what the Kremlin is alleging a drone attack on it by Ukraine is true then it will raise questions about how well protected Putin really is. The Kremlin said two drones had been used in the alleged attack on Putin’s residence in the walled Kremlin citadel that were disabled by electronic defences. This attack would require scrutinising the effectiveness of Russian air defences as anti-aircraft systems are spotted on Moscow rooftops due to concerns that Ukraine or those sympathetic to Ukraine, may attempt to carry out aerial attacks on high-value targets. Whatever actually happened in this respect, the question now is how Russia will respond but skeptics are unclear whether Russia has the capacity to carry out meaningful retaliatory strikes. On the other hand, the Ukrainian side insists that Moscow made no sense for Ukraine but would help Russia justify its own attacks on civilian targets and that is what they want to avoid.
