Classic case of dynastic politics

The Classic case of dynastic politics & political leadership of PTI had built its case of bringing egalitarianism in the political sphere of the country by badly bad-mouthing the dynastic politics prevalent in Pakistan and has blamed it for all ills afflicting the country but now after getting his son elected to the provincial assembly most prominent PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi had to face the brunt of duplicitous policies pursued by him and his party when PTI workers held a protest demonstration in Multan against him for giving a party ticket to his daughter Meher Bano Qureshi as a candidate for the by-election in NA-157. Interestingly, the constituency was vacated by his son, Zain Qureshi, who won Punjab Assembly’s PP-217 as MPA. A large number of PTI workers lodged a protest outside the ECP office in Multan against Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his family for promoting dynastic politics in the party. The workers were chanting slogans and carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against Qureshi and his family. The party’s central leadership was also criticized for allotting a ticket to Meher Bano and called it hypocrisy. Some of them tweeted that they were clueless as to why chairman of the party who has been raising a voice against dynastic politics in Pakistan, would give a ticket to Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s daughter.
