Anemia is caused by deficiency of healthy red blood cells in blood. Anemia is a difficult health condition and may cause many illnesses due to weak resistance of the body. In this context, it is mentioned that Anemia Red blood cells (RBCs) are essential to carry oxygen to all parts of the body. Anemia is mostly the cause of fatigue and unexplained weaknesses and becomes unbearable. Anemia is usually observed by pale skin and cold hands and feet. The most worrying aspect of anemia is that it reduces the immunity of human body that becomes prone to infections.

Its results from reduced red blood cells. It is caused due to various reasons such as reduced production of red blood cells as in iron deficiency or megaloblastic anemia. Excess blood loss can be due to external bleeding like in road traffic accidents or internal bleeding as in hookworm infection. Women can face this problem due to excess bleeding during periods. Moreover, long term use of drugs like aspirin and other pain killers are also the causes of anemia. Problems in absorption of nutrients due to conditions like Crohn’s disease or Celiac disease. Anemia could also be caused by lack of balanced diet that results in the lack of formation of red blood cells. One more reason of anemia pertains to family history and it is required to be kept in view.

It is considered to give rise to autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis known to be a very painful condition hampering normal functioning of the parts of body that are affected. It can lead to many more diseases simply because of unsatisfactory presence of red blood cells that keeps the body under consistent stress. It also makes the patients to take quite longer while recovering from disease. It is advised that this condition should always be made known to medical practitioners so that they offer periodic advice. It is also important to regulate dietary habits and consume edibles that help in making more red cells in blood such as pomegranate and beetroot. TW
